I am loving the Dare to Dream focus for the seller challenge this week. It's easy to get lost in designing and creating. It's so important to refocus on why we're all doing this extra work. :)
Here is my photo for this week!
My Own Classroom: I am a new teacher. I haven't had my own room yet. I have slowly been accumulating classroom materials so I'll be ready when that day comes. I'm currently applying and interviewing for classroom positions. In the future I would love to have some TPT money to spend on my future students and our classroom. I have so many fantastic organization and decoration ideas just waiting on my Pinterest boards. I can't wait.
Reflective Teaching: I love that TPT has forced me to think so deeply about materials I would like to use. I have analyzed so many aspects of daily routines and synthesized the best parts that work for me. This will allow me to customize future materials for the classroom to fit each specific class. That is a huge benefit. It is a dream of mine to keep adjusting, and become so reflective and critical of my teaching in order to effectively teach a diverse class.
Student Loan Payments: I've seen this one floating around on a few of these posts. It'll be so nice to be debt free. I can't wait until that day. As a recent college grad this is dream number 1!
Kindness in the Classroom: I love focusing on teaching the whole student. Through TPT I have found so many great ideas to teach the whole kiddo. I want my students to be kind and respectful students in my classroom and beyond. I love that I now feel confident creating materials and systems that promote kindness and develop content-related skills. Pretty awesome.
I am very new to the world of TPT and I have loved all of the connections I've made with other teachers.
I can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
Hopefully soon I will be blogging and creating for my very own classroom.
